Energia

Nel mondo, il settore energetico è dominato dai carburanti fossili che sono estremamente nocivi per l’inquinamento atmosferico (effetto serra), influenzano la politica e l’economia mondiale, non sono distribuiti in modo omogeneo e democratico.


Alcuni Dati:

  • Aumento medio annuo della domanda d’energia primaria: 4,1% nei PVS ; 0,46% nei Paesi industrializzati

  • Nei PVS l’uso di energia elettrica è precluso a 1,6 miliardi di persone

  • Nei PVS più dell'80% del legno estratto è usato come combustibile per la cottura dei cibi, portando così alla deforestazione


Bisogna incentivare l’uso delle diverse fonti d’energia rinnovabile, perché:

  • sono fonti inesauribili e disponibili nello stesso quantitativo in breve tempo;

  • possono essere utilizzate localmente;

  • sono usufruibili in modo omogeneo sul globo;

  • sono il mezzo migliore per risolvere i problemi legati al cambiamento climatico.
